I don’t workout all that much. Don’t I need to be in shape to start something like CrossFit?
No. Not at all. CrossFit 806 coaches scale the workouts to meet the current fitness level of our members. In fact, almost everyone that starts a CrossFit program has to scale the workouts to some degree. That is why people become a member of our community… to improve their current fitness level. We will continue to scale to match your measurable improvements and your ultimate fitness goals.
What do I get with my membership?
First, CrossFit will help you reach any of your fitness goals. Everyone that becomes a member of our community will constantly be challenged, and they will see measurable improvements. But, true fitness takes a balance of knowledge, diet, and physical ability. CrossFit 806 is focused on giving you all the tools to balance and improve your fitness level. This will include additional workshops, seminars, workouts, challenges and social gatherings. The coaches at CrossFit 806 are deeply invested in all of our members and are focused on helping each athlete reach their fitness goals.
Can I come workout whenever I want?
No. We only offer classes that are led and supervised by certified CrossFit instructors.
CrossFit sounds pretty cool…can I come check it out?
Absolutely. We’d love to have you come try it out. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time to stop by the gym. You will meet a coach, checkout our gym, and we will even let you try a short CrossFit workout. This is a free class, and it's also free to our current members if they would like to do the workout with you.
How do I get started?
Interview & Intro Workout: You can start by meeting with our coaching staff. Here we can discuss any questions you may have, as well as your goals and what you are wanting to achieve through CrossFit. Then, you can take part in an intro workout. This intro workout will be a short version of a regular class. The coach will lead you in a short warm up, discuss the movements that will be in the workout, review the details of the workout, and then you can try your first CrossFit workout! Afterwards, we will discuss what the next steps are in order to get started. If you are a current member, you can bring your friends or family to this workout and join in with them.
Foundations: We have a 2 week, 6 class program called "Foundations" and we require everyone that's new to CrossFit to go through this. We will teach you, in depth, several new movements each class, and you will do a workout at the end of each class incorporating the movements that you just learned. This is done in a small group setting, no more than 6 or 7 people. Foundations is on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 - 7:30 PM. The cost of Foundations is $60.
