Krystal Cone

Krystal Cone

Coach

I first joined CrossFit 806 in May of 2017 to get into shape after losing 100 pounds, and CrossFit quickly became much more than that for me.  Not only do I continue to become a leaner, stronger, more fit version of myself; I have gained a group of close friends that strive to do the same thing. We encourage and push each other along the way, we have become a CrossFit family!

I stumbled upon CrossFit through a co-worker that had seen a video on Facebook that CrossFit had come to Borger, and after watching the video myself I became curious and decided to go check out one of the workouts. As I watched the class, I thought there was no way I would ever be able to perform any of the movements due to lower back disc issues. Not only can I perform most of the movements, the physical and mental improvements are like nothing I have ever seen.

I quickly fell in love with CrossFit and what it can do for a person physically, mentally, and emotionally! It didn’t take long to want to help others achieve their goals, so when asked if I wanted to become a coach I jumped at the chance. I love being a part of the CrossFit community, not only do I get to continue to improve, reach goals, set new ones; I get to help others achieve theirs as well. I want to inspire people, I want someone to look at me say “Because of you, I didn’t give up.”
