CrossFit 806 began like many of the early CrossFit gyms, with a group of friends following the crossfit.com daily workouts and eventually deciding to open their own gym.

In December 2010, four friends pooled their resources and founded CrossFit 806. They found a small location, purchased some equipment, and gradually started to see new faces coming through the door. As time went on, CrossFit 806 began to establish a strong reputation in Amarillo, Texas.

Today, CrossFit 806 is far more than just a place to work out. We offer multiple classes daily, off-site corporate wellness programs, and specialty classes tailored for both children and seniors.

Owner Kyle Cato takes the most pride in how CrossFit 806 supports local nonprofit Christian ministries. This sense of community and service is at the heart of everything we do.

GIVING BACK

It is important to our team to consistently give back throughout the year. There are three local charities that we partner with to raise funds throughout the year!

25:35 Water is a non-profit organization that helps provide communities with clean drinking water. Since our founders lived in Uganda for some time, they were able to build strong relationships with the locals. Having those strong relationships means that we have local men and woman in Uganda who oversee the drilling of the water wells. This not only provides jobs for many Ugandans but it also gives them ownership over the water wells! Your partnership means so much to us and we promise to keep you updated on how your donations are impacting the people of Uganda!

Mission 2540 is a non-profit 501(c)3 apartment ministry serving families in low-income multi-housing units. We work to meet their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Founded in 2004, we strive to live out the call of Matthew 25:40 to reach out to the “least of these.” Through after-school and summer activities, resident assistance, and a variety of outreaches camps, and other programs through out the year, our desire is to Feed, Clothe, and Love our neighbors in need.

VetsGiving is a 501c3 non-profit organization which provides fully cooked Thanksgiving meals to veterans and their families during the Thanksgiving holiday. Vetgiving was born from humble beginnings with the delivery of a single meal to a military family 3 years ago. This single meal was the spark to a larger movement of volunteers, veterans, and families coming together to support Veterans during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
